Choose the right tile project
A backsplash, a bathroom floor and a shower are different projects. Each needs a scope suited to its location, existing surface and exposure. Tell us where the tile will go, what is there now and whether you are planning a standalone update or a larger remodel.
Tile services
MPR’s existing service list includes bathroom wall and floor tile, kitchen and basement floors, backsplashes, grout, and tile and grout sealing and cleaning. Discuss the tile format, edge treatment, grout appearance and the surfaces the installation will meet.
Plan the layout before installation
Tile size and pattern affect cuts around corners, fixtures and openings. A niche, doorway or change of surface can be a useful starting point when discussing the layout. Review how joints, edges and transitions will look together rather than selecting each detail separately.
Preparation depends on the setting
A decorative wall and a wet shower area have different preparation needs. Existing damage, substrate condition and the requirements of the selected installation system should be reviewed as part of the scope. Tile and grout alone should not be treated as a complete waterproofing plan.
Describe your project
Send photographs of the existing area and any tile samples or inspiration images you already have. Include approximate dimensions and note whether demolition, fixture work or other remodeling is expected.

Backsplash installation is included in MPR’s existing tile service list.

Yes. Bathroom wall and floor tile and full bathroom remodeling are both listed services. Discuss the complete scope together.
